Frequently Asked Questions

Question:  How do I get toys?

Answer:  If you are an organization looking to request toys please use our Toy Request link on the left side of this page.   If you are an individual looking to request toys and not part of an organization please contact United Way 2-1-1 by dialing 2-1-1 from any home telephone.

Question:  Why does the Toy Request form not work for me?

Answer:  Our forms are web based and therefore you cannot use hyphens or apostrophe's in the words you are submitting in the fields.  If you receive a "500" error when hitting submit, simply hit the BACK button on your browser and review your fields.  Remove apostrophes and click submit again.  If you continue to have problems please contact our Webmaster.

Question:  What does it mean to be an Authorized Distributor?

Answer:  Being an Authorized Distributor means that you are willing to not only request toys for the children in your organization, but you will request more toys so that individual families that do not belong to an organization in their community can receive toys through yours.  Your information is passed along to United Way 2-1-1 and when they receive a phone call for a family in your area they will give that family your information so you can be contacted and toys can be distributed to these families.
